At the point when Gandalf and the dwarves come running out of the orc mountain and as they're running down the mountainside Gandalf started counting... one, two, seven, eight, nine... I might have started to laugh.
I related to poor old Gandalf in that moment.
Every ten minutes at an overly crowded Disneyland.
Every time we leave a restaurant.
Or grocery store.
Or our house.
One, two, three, four, five, six.
As long as I count to six, we're good.
If I don't reach six then we need to start worrying about trivial things... like names... to figure out who we're missing.
I'm constantly counting to six under my breath.
Fist bump, Gandalf. I get you.
Speaking of keeping track of half a dozen kids...
I was introduced to a SweetRelish.com this weekend.
It's like pinterest for shopping.
It links my lister tenancies with my online shopper.
(Because let's face it, when you have six kids and their homework and activites, plus a full time job, plus you're own school, plus you're own activities... online shopping during your lunch break is the only way to do it for Christmas and birthdays. Who has the time anymore?)
I've died and gone to heaven, I'm not even exaggerating.

So I signed up and started a board for Cali's birthday which is in January.
And a board for Casidee's birthday in March.
And a board to keep track of the games I've been wanting to get for our family to play.
And I may or may not have started a board with clothes on it for me.
And now that I'm thinking about it...
I need to start one for Easter and one for Tayler's birthday.
We are smack dab in the middle of our birthday season, after all.
Cali's already talking about what she wants for her birthday because Mom has told her that her Christmas is finished and she can't change her list anymore.
(only seven days!)
So all the new ideas are being bumped to her birthday, which is perfectly fine in my book, I love to plan ahead.
So I started that board for Cali's birthday and then I started searching for the stuff she'd asked for.
She's become obsessed with Tinkerbell.
So I found the big pack of Tinkerbell dolls on Target's website.
And I hit my relish button and tagged it onto my board for Cali's birthday.
And when I found a house set, and some earrings and a necklace, I hit my relish button on them too.
Now, when the Christmas hub-bub is all wrapped up, and I'm ready to get online and get Cali's birthday taken care of, all I need to do is go to my Sweet Relish board.
Everything I found for her is there, with the website it came from, and the price.
And as I find things for Easter, and next Christmas, school shopping, and Halloween I can Relish them and when I'm ready to buy them,
bam!
There they are.
And it's like pinterest where you can follow boards and see good deals that other people have found.
I don't know about you, but my pinterest "I'd wear that" board has just become obsolete.
