Happy Birthday Granny Suzann and Hocus Pocus

Every October 1st I pull out my copy of Disney's Hocus Pocus and make The Man and The Circus watch it with me.

Because it's now October and you have to kick it off right.

It's tradition.

The Man says, "if you say so," when I tell him that.

I do say so. And I have the brownies in the oven to prove it.

I can't even tell you what I would give to go to a party with two friends dressed as the Sanderson sisters. 

This year I scored because after watching the movie Cali declared that she is no longer going to be the Monster High vampire. This year she's going to be Sarah Sanderson.

I am so proud of her.

Now I just need to convince Casidee to be Winifred and Jayme to be Mary and I'll be in 7th heaven.

Winifred: Why was I cursed with such idiot sisters?
Sarah: Just lucky I guess.

Winifred: Sisters, All Hallow's Eve has become a night of frolic, where children wear costumes and run amok!
Sarah: Amok! Amok, amok, amok, amok, amok...

Winifred: Oh look, another glorious morning.  Makes me SICK!

Jay: Oh man, how come it's always the ugly chicks that stay out late?
Sanderson sisters: Chicks?

Winifred: Don't get your knickers in a twist, we're just three kindly old spinster ladies.
Mary: Spending a quiet evening at home.
Sarah: Sucking the lives out of little children!






I feel like I should write about something other than my obvious obsession for Hocus Pocus and the fact that it is now October.
I should write about something other than what my kids are going to be for Halloween, but seriously...

It's October.

We have a whole month ahead of us for me to ramble on about such things.

Don't think I won't.

Be assured I do have a few other things happening in October that don't tie into Halloween... Like Granny Suzann's birthday which was yesterday.

Happy birthday Suzann!

 By the way, Granny Suzann loves Halloween too.  In that sense, I completely fit in with West's family.

We met up with Granny and Lindee and Sam at Village Inn because Granny wanted pie on her birthday.

Isn't she beautiful?

Hey, what do you know.  With the coffin cake that Sam and Lindee made for Suzann's birthday this does tie into Halloween.

Also, watch The Manchild around whipped cream...

He will use it against you.
