And just because I say that doesn't mean the season is commercialized for me. On the contrary, I enjoy the gift giving process. There's an underlying feeling of love and bonding as I sit with my family in our home and simply give to one another.
I love that my kids have already asked that they draw names for each other because they want to be thinking and paying attention to what they can buy for the sibling who's name they've drawn. I love that that's where their focus is.
Where all of our focus should be.
Giving.
Sometimes you just want that one thing that will make the person in your life smile and know that you appreciate them.
