If Obama wins I'm leaving the country. Sarcasm at its finest.

What do you say on the brink of a morning such as this?  It's November and temps have been hanging in the 70's.  And while I love wearing my flip flops and cuffing up my pants mid-calf, I think about drought.

It's November 7th to be exact and yesterday our great country voted for the President of the United States.
So on the brink of a morning such as this we wake up knowing who our President will continue to be for the next four years.

This is what I have to say on the matter:

Really though, through this election I've been doing a lot of homework on the process and now that Obama is around for another four years I have more questions about his policies and plan on doing more homework on all sorts of matters.

So if nothing else, this election has given me the drive to really become educated on government goings on.

I know, it took long enough.

Especially since I have a suspicion that the younger vote went to Obama simply because they were jumping on a bandwagon.

It's cool, yo.

It's fine with me however you put your vote, that's the beauty of a democracy, I just hope it was educated.  I include myself in this statement.

Enough with that.

Yesterday I had what I would consider a bad hair day.  Or at the very most, a lazy hair day.  I re-did it five times and then just said screw it.

And yes, I used an instagram filter because instagram filters make everything look better.

The rule is when you're having a bad hair day, or a lazy hair day, you should at least dress nice to counter it, so I did, slacks, heels and the whole she-bang.

I went to work, went to my weekly office meeting and sat down.
My co-worker, Sam leaned in and said, "I love what you've done to your hair."
But there was an edge on his voice so I asked, "Do I sense sarcasm in that comment?"
"Yes."

Seriously.  He simply said, "yes."

I told West about it and he burst out laughing.  He thought it was awesome.

The audacity of it all.

Luckily I already know that Sam is not to be taken too seriously.  He has no filter and his opinion of my hair doesn't matter to me.  Except for in the sense that it makes a good story for the blog.

Now if he'd insulted my skills on a spreadsheet I might have to put some weight into it...

I registered for next semester and in doing so mapped out my plan of when I'm going to take my classes that I need to finish up my degree (sadly I'm only talking about my Associates here, but hey, you have to start somewhere).  I mapped out which semester I would take which class, which class I could take online, and which class I could take on campus that worked around family and work schedules.

It occurred to me that I only have four semesters left and I'm done with it.

Four semesters and then I can move on to the fun classes of a Bachelor's degree (fun as in classes that apply to my major and not just general classes that I have to take to be "well rounded.").

I'm getting this done, two classes at a time.
