what's green bay? a name brand?

This morning...
"Mom, I can't find my birthday invitations."  You mean the ones that you were supposed to pass out on Tuesday because your party is tomorrow?  And she's bawling because they're no where to be found.  I had 5 minutes before I needed to leave for work.

"Mom, the printer won't print my homework."  You mean the homework that you told me was done two days ago?  The homework that's due today?  I need to leave for work right now and I still have to fix the invitation situation.

Tay ended up taking handwritten notes to school with her to invite her friends to tomorrow's party.

We pulled a paper jam out of the printer and it spit out the needed homework papers for Cas.

It was 8:05 and I should have already been at work for 5 minutes, but had yet to leave my house.

Half way to work I realize I don't have my purse.  I need to stop at Orson Gygi to buy stuff for the cake tomorrow. I need my driver's license to pick up mine and Tay's packets for the Color Me Rad run which is tomorrow.  I need my wallet.  Not to mention that my access card to get into my office door is in my purse...

I had to turn around.

Luckily my boss is awesome.  "You need to take care of those issues at home.  If you don't, then work never seems to go as well."  As long as the work is getting done, which it is, he never has a problem.  How grateful I am to have landed in this job.

But on a good note, the missing pictures from my "best day" at Fort Bridger suddenly appeared on my phone this morning.  So I changed that post (here) and added our pictures to it if you're interested.

Last weekend we had a baby shower for my sister Kristin.  She and her hubby Fred are expecting their first baby.  Since it's a boy, I decided to make a Green Bay baby blanket for him, being as Fred is a die hard fan.  When I told The Man I was making a Green Bay blanket he looked at me.

What's Green Bay?  A name brand of some sort?

Man a live this is why I love him so much.

Tayler was a big help putting the cupcake signs together with me.  I cut out all the circles and put them in piles of size.  Tay sat and glued them all together while I made dinner.  It was a huge help, and she did such a great job.

Guess how big Kris's belly is... I got it spot on thank you very much.

This weekend will be a busy one.  I'm taking Tay on the Color Me Rad 5k in the a.m. and then taking her swimming with her friends.  On Sunday I foresee "Sunday Naps" making a come back.

Thought for the day:
"We women have a lot to learn about simplifying our lives. We have to decide what is important and then move along at a pace that is comfortable for us. We have to develop the maturity to stop trying to prove something. We have to learn to be content with what we are.” Marjorie Hinckley

Something to think about anyway :).  Happy weekend.
