Pros and Cons of Being a Step-Parent. Guest Vlog.

It's a requirement for my Family Relations class to take one of the chapter assignments (if you're friends with me on facebook then you know these assignments well as I'm continually asking for what everyone thinks on different subjects for the class) and turn it into a creative assignment.

Like make a sculpture or painting, write a poem, or do a dance.

Seriously, it suggested doing a dance.

Gah I hate things that bring me out of my comfort zone.  

But as I looked ahead at the chapter assignments I found the one I wanted to do, and I knew how I wanted to do it.

I emailed my teacher for the required permission to proceed, and got it.

So over the weekend The Circus headed south, out of the first big snowstorm of the season to warmer temps in the desert of St. George where my parents live and I had a little sit down interview with my dad about the pros and cons of being a step-parent, what would he have done differently, and what advice would he give to couples just starting out.

 And called it a vlog for creativity sake.

So without further ado, I bring to you, my (step)Dad, otherwise known on this blog as Grandpa Dick.
