"Oh Cali..."

Yesterday Cali brings home a project that she worked on in her daycare/preschool class and tells Steph Jr. that she had to "put the scary guy on it." Later in the evening she opens a valentine's card that was sent to her from her grandma Julie and exclaims, "Mom! It's the scary guy!" I turned to look to find her holding a five dollar bill...Honestly, who would have ever thought that President's day activities would create such reactions? I don't think I've ever heard Abraham Lincoln described in quite that way before!

Grandpa Brent retired today. A little bitter sweet as he's now moving to Idaho full time to finally be in his beloved house and property with Julie-mom. Jessica called me as soon as I was off work and we made last minute plans to take the old man out to dinner and harrass him one last time before he heads off to endless fishing. While we were at Red Robin Cali informs that she got a hole in her pants at daycare. I asked to see it... She still has no explanation for how this happened.
