Back To School 2012

On Friday Casidee had her first day of 7th grade (here). 
Which turned out to be a good day.

*Whew*

Today the rest of The Circus got to start.
They're excited about their teachers.
They're excited to be going back.

With six kids I think we're pretty lucky that all six look forward to school.

Jayme is ruling the school in 6th grade this year.

And since 6th grade is being moved to Middle School next year, Brynn is also ruling the school in 5th grade this year.

That means next year we'll go from having one in Middle School, to having three.

Sean and Tayler have made it to 4th grade.  That's big kid status in my mind.

And for the third year now they have the same teacher.  They're okay with it though.  If one of them is struggling with friends the other steps in and is totally there for the other, but other than that, they just treat being in the same class as "whatever."

Cali's in 2nd grade, an old hand at school now.

Also, that comb over's pretty good, no?  You'd never even know. (Here).

Where as our house is the meeting spot for the Middle School kids, our house is the beginning point for the elementary group.  They cheesed out for me on the porch, and then headed off to collect friends along their way to school.

Watch out school, here they come!
